Catering and F&B in Pompei
We are well aware of the beauty surrounding us and we envision a qualitative growth in the F&B field in our region. We’re passionate travelers and always get inspired by other cultures which naturally enrich our banqueting, entertainment and tourist offers. Tiberius started its business as pizza restaurant organized to accommodate groups of tourists visiting the excavations of Pompeii, given the proximity to the archaeological park’s main entrance Porta Marinaand the availability of a large parkingarea for buses as well.
From tourism to events
In 2014, a process of total restyling of the property and enrichment of the catering proposals began. Today it covers an area of about one hectare, counting indoor and outdoor spaces, with a total capacity to accommodate up to 1,270 people seating. The dining rooms are fit to welcome a variety of requests, from weddings to business incentives. In fact, the versatility of the spaces, allows the reception of ceremonies, events, culinary and eno-gastronomic activities. From the original restaurant we have kept the good old wood-burning oven built in lava stone for the pizzeria service and we have added a new one, always of a traditional type, by the So Zen’s garden. The outdoor spaces include terraces, gardens and a green area.
Tiberius’ crown jewels
We are particularly proud of the Giardino dei Sensi (garden of senses), a delightful pergolashaded with grapevines and rose plants, overlooking the ancient villas; and the So Zen lounge restaurant, a terrace that recalls an Arabian style and presents a menu of traditional and fusion dishes. For these two spaces in particular, the choice of furnishings always falls on natural materials and in harmony with the surrounding environment, important elements in terms of hospitality, which enure comfort and relaxation to our customers. The combination of Italian and French influences has produced two specializations: Mademoiselle Charlotte’s pastry lab, run by master pastry chef Graziano Notarnicolaand the cellar of selected wines and champagnes.
